The Funk Odyssey Begins..

2007.It's about time.

It has begun..

To be honest I started my 2007 with a bit of skepticism, and since 2006 was a somewhat dreadful year for me, I was really counting on a miracle to make this new year a much better one. However, it appears that 2007 has all of a sudden shown me a preview of what's to come (entertainment wise, of course). To begin it all, Top Gear returns on the 28th (a big yay!) with Entourage soon to follow. Ian will probably have the rest of the OC, so no worries there. However, there is one worrying thing. I've just popped by Deep's to piss all over the place (another story for another time) and discovered what a little beautiful, beautiful gem of a series Las Vegas is. Molly Sims is incredibly gorgeous, but Vanessa Marcil, oh she melts me into the puddle of drool I have become. Pictures don't show much I know, but oh so incredible in real life (I personally call it the Rachel Green syndrome); well moving anyway. Sad but true moment of the day; there's 4 seasons as of now, and I've barely gone through the first, let alone purchased/have some sort of access to the rest. I'm contemplating the box set, as torrents for the first season are so incredibly hard to find. If that isn't it, there's further excitement from Pirates 3 AND Die Hard 4 coming out somewhere this year.. C'mon; you have to admit...Keira, Captain Jack and McClane all in one year?

Things are starting to shape up.

Well, it's a new year, and the F1 2007 will be unveiled tomorrow! So, here's to a great season. Let's hope the Iceman can kick the silly Spaniard back to where he came from, and if not I hope Sato is back to his previous PUSH 100% form.

Well it is brilliant, and I hope the 2007 Ferrari will look absolutely stunning... only time will tell; but if previous models are anything to go by, then all you tifosi can rest easy.

On other news, after my whole Jay Kay episode earlier, and the whole "Runaway" video fiesta (what's a siesta again?), I stumbled upon this site (ok so I knew the address from my 2003 yearbook) and a few very intriguing questions popped in my head. When can I actually have the honour to grace it's contents? How do I get the pin number? Do I get it even after purchasing a second hand 355? Can I order beautiful italian models to go with me on my european love affair? Oh, the suspense. The drama. I'd be lying if I said it didn't get me excited, let alone dream about Heidi Klum yet again. Well then, do I really have to form a british funk rock band that encapsulates the very style and splendour that moves the world?

Not really.

The sad reality is that I'm not very good at singing, let alone playing the guitar. To be fair I'm not making much progress in life either, so to speak. That leaves me with only one option then. The one and only thing that has kept the fire, the spark; the dream alive.

New Look, Same Surprise.

Hello friendlies!
It's 3:59am again and I'm just doing a post simply because everyone's asleep, I've got nothing much to do, AND I forgot to do the whole 'grand opening' thing for the new layout in the last post. That's the 2007 er..template thingy for ya. I would go and make a new banner, but I can't be bothered.

You might question the Schwarzenegger picture on the top, but you can't help but at least smile when looking at the pic; lest burst out laughing at his muscles. I personally find it incredibly amusing, and fans of the masterful surprise as well as king joe would no doubt know it's been used in a muscle joke once. But only a fool doesn't know that there is no such thing as "enough" muscle jokes when it comes to this man. Cheers to the commando, the terminator, and last but not least to the Austrian bodybuilder. Cyberdyne Systems Model 101, I salute you.

So what else is new? Nothing immediately comes to mind. So I'll just leave it at that.
